As rachaduras do olhar: para uma revisão do problema escópico em Janela Indiscreta

Nos anos 1950, Alfred Hitchcock realizou filmes como Janela Indiscreta e Um Corpo que Cai, que faziam do plano ponto de vista um instrumento estruturante de construção da narrativa fílmica. Durante as décadas seguintes, formou-se uma interpretação que entendia o olhar dos personagens de Hitchcock como a produção de um processo de espelhamento, no qual o eu-que-vê prolifera-se nas coisas-vistas. A janela, de Janela Indiscreta, estaria associada a uma metanarrativa, funcionando como a representação da tela cinematográfica e fazendo do protagonista, Jeffrey, um espectador inscrito dentro do próprio filme.
Entretanto, buscando reconhecer as descontinuidades abertas dentro da criação de imagens e cenas desses dois filmes, procuro observar as linhas de força que distinguem a janela – dispositivo de fixidez e invariância espacial – e a tela cinematográfica – dispositivo de visibilização da ação e união de olhares. Com isso, trata-se de buscar um novo estatuto do problema escópico desenvolvido em Janela Indiscreta, menos afeito à unidade de um olhar subjetivo consistente, e mais interessado nas rachaduras abertas nos desacoplamentos entre olhares e dispositivos óticos.
