Round table organized by the editors of the dossier “Reconfigurations of the cinematographic field in the 2010s”, with the presence of Hernani Heffner, Kênia Freitas, Lúcia Monteiro and Pedro Butcher. Among the topics discussed are: stylistic characteristics of cinema in the 2010s; intensification of the relationship between author movies and genre movies, especially in Brazilian cinema; black cinemas; indigenous cinema; new forms of circulation and relationship with the festival circuit; militancy cinema; emergence of streaming; media archeology; conservative rise and its relationship with the Brazilian audiovisual; and challenges of teaching film history.
