Leviathan and sensorial ethnography

This article aims to study the work of the Sensory Ethnography Lab from Harvard University through the analysis of the feature film Leviathan (2012), directed by Lucien Castaing-Taylor and Véréna Paravel. This text will also address specificities of ethnographic film, observational documentary and avant-garde cinema as important tecno-aesthetic aspects of contemporary cinema will be highlighted.
