Abstract

The text that I present for the Fora de Quadro section is a series of writings, both academic and personal, about the ongoing research process and the field experience on the relationship between Eduardo Coutinho's cinema and the region Northeast of Brazil. There is also the account of my visit to Araçás, in São João do Rio do Peixe, Paraíba, where the filming of O Fim e o Princípio (2005) was recorded, in the company of Rosa, the film’s mediator.
