Abstract

O presente artigo tem o objetivo de refletir sobre a representatividade de sujeitos dissidentes no audiovisual brasileiro, a partir da perspectiva de políticas públicas de incentivo e fomento ao setor. Considerando o boom da produção independente no país após a criação da Lei 12.485/11, impulsionado pelas cotas de tela e novas linhas de financiamento para cinema e TV, propõe-se neste trabalho ponderar sobre medidas e mecanismos que possibilitam uma discussão sobre a noção de diversidade: a existência ou invisibilidade de sujeitos e corpos LGBTQIA+ e queer nas obras audiovisuais brasileiras.

Juliana Ribeiro Pinto Bravo, Doutoranda no Programa de Pós-graduação em Artes, Cultura e Linguagens da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora.

Doutoranda no PPGACL da Universidade Federal de Juiz de Fora. Mestre em Comunicação pelo PPGCOM da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Bacharel em Cinema e Audiovisual pela Universidade Federal Fluminense. Atualmente é coordenadora da linha “Sexualidades, Dissidências e Novas Mídias” do grupo de pesquisa Entelas-UFJF.
