Abstract

This paper analyses some short and feature Brazilian fiction films and documentaries that explore the experience of being, inhabiting and crossing the country borders. The aim is to identify the strategies mobilized by the films to produce what I call “Place” in the midst of these crossing spaces. It is a strong relationship between the body, the camera and the space that retraces these spaces fragments and potentiates the pathways and events.
